The Spring Pasta Recipes You Need Now
Share
Let’s celebrate with pasta, shall we? March 8th is International Women’s Day, a day to celebrate all of the strong, intelligent and powerful women around the world. I’ve been lucky enough to have many inspiring women in my life that have shaped me into the Pasta Queen I am today. To honor these leading ladies, I pulled together three of my most favorite pasta dishes inspired by strong women!
Classic Pesto Genovese
Make your neighbors green with envy by enjoying a bowl of this Pesto Genovese al fresco. Then invite them over for a bowl, the more the merrier! Many of you might be surprised to find out that the true Pesto Genovese contains both potatoes and sweet green beans!
The Sicilian Affair
This dish is both spicy and unforgettable, just like you are. Garlic, chili, and tender broccoli come together to create a spring awakening of flavors. Al dente pasta then enters the party along with a splash of the tears of the gods and a fresh spring shower of pecorino romano to tie everything together.
The Lazy Princess
Don’t be fooled by the name, this Princess was actually a genius. By cooking the pasta directly in sweet pureed peas, you’ll wind up with a silky smooth pasta dish, unlike anything you’ve ever tasted. A blend of rich egg yolk and both pecorino romano and Parmigiano-Reggiano finishes this verdant dish most elegantly.
